Apple Wallet / Reoccurring charges

I tried to make a purchase on my Apple wallet, it was for a reoccurring charge.

When I filled out the forms for this company and hit the Apple Pay option, my transaction was denied. In other words, the very first “sign up” charge was declined. At that moment, I used another credit card not connected to Apple Pay which went through. On that charge it shows reoccurring charges too.

One month later, I was charged on my Apple Pay with the card that was initially declined even though I have a reoccurring charge in my other credit card.

If the first charge was declined how was the vendor able to take the second charge from my account without my authorization?

I froze everything and told the vendor that it’s deceptive what they are doing and they refuse to refund me the money. Because it’s Apple Pay my credit card company refuses to help.

Recurring payments will often continue to post to your account even should a card expire, etc. you would need t contact the merchant.

Your card issuer should still be able to help you out. Your use of Apple Pay to initiate a transaction is irrelevant.
