Why is it that each night when I put my iPhone 14 Pro Max on the charger the next morning the brightness is turned all the way down? Night shift isn’t on nor is true tone.

No to both, auto brightness is off, True Tone is off and focus is off. I turn on a lamp when I wake up that’s next to the phone for 10-15 minutes before I pick up the phone. Problem came when I got my 14 pro max and iOS 16.

If you have brightness on Automatic and it is dark in the morning it will dim the screen. And also if the screen is locked it will be dim util you unlock it.
I have the same thing happening I would like to know also. This only happened when I got new iPhone 14 pro max.
