Remote control

My Samsung TV + the Samsung soundbar are connected via HDMI ARC, and the Apple TV is connected via HDMI cable directly to the TV. The Samsung smart tv remote either disconnects or losses its pairing randomly when turn off/on the tv overnight. Apple TV won’t learn the smart tv remote either since I updated to iOS 16. I tried all possible cable connections between the tv, soundbar, and the Apple TV. Same issue. Everything was working fine before updating to iOS 16. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

I have checked TV software already and it says no further update available.

I was wondering if incompatibility with iOS 16 could be the cause. No matter what cable connection I try, optical, even Bluetooth, there is a delay or absolute disconnect with the remote mainly overnight and next day when turn on the tv. I also checked the Apple TV and tv’s screensavers. Both are turned off.

I doubt that the remote itself could be bad. I did reset the remote, changed batteries, and re-synced multiple times.

It’s really annoying…
