Add University ID card to Apple Wallet

Last card in my wallet now will be my university ID card, which I can use to pay for things on campus, scan on the public transit, open security doors, etc. I hope Apple will work with Universities and/or businesses to let them add cards to the Apple Wallet as well.

how to add medical cards (etc.) to Apple Wallet? My Apple Wallet will let me add a debit card, a transit card, or a driver's license. BUT: It will not let me add a card proving I have a medical implant It will not scan both sides of a WI state drivers license -- It takes side 1, not side 2. It will not let me add a transit card for Washington DC Metro. How can I add these things? I'm running iOS 15.7.6 on an iPhone 7s.

ADDING MISCELLANEOUS CARDS TO APPLE WALLET I would like to add various cards to APPLE WALLET so I don't have to carry them in my physical wallet. These include but are not limited to membership cards in in various social organizations. THE Wallet app only lists Debit or Credit Cards as well as Transit Card and Drivers license for selected states. When I scan an AARP card, it won't let me complete the process without entering a CCV number which is not applicable to this card. Is there a better way to add cards than to scan them directly into WALLET?
