Update Apple ID settings

Running a iPhone XR and just updated to iOS 16.0.2 and in settings it has a notification to update Apple ID settings but when I enter my password it does nothing and just goes back to the same screen I’ve done this many times with both wifi and cellular data but keeps going back and nothing happens

Update Apple ID settings On apple iPhone 12pro a flag comes up to update Apple ID settings. I click on it and it asked me to enter my Apple ID password I do, and it goes to a a screen "Update Apple ID settings". Some account services will not be available until you sign in again. So I click continue it circles for 4 second returns to same screen. I have done this 50 times in a row and still returns to same screen accomplishing nothing. If I wait over a minute it will take me back to enter password for Apple ID screen again, and we start all over. I have been periodically attempting to do this for three or four months now. This will not go away! By the way my iPad using same Apple ID does not have the message. Can anyone help me?

Update Apple ID Settings doesn't go off Hi All, The update apple id settings notification on my phone does not go off despite entering the correct password. This thing keeps looping back to the screen asking to update Apple id settings. The verification does not fail either when I enter the apple id password as the password entered is correct. I have tried :(a) resetting the phone (b) signing out and signing back in with my apple id, but nothing seems to work to remove this notification. Need help

You need to optimize the range of the mobile network, see this Apple article:

If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad

If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Check also the Wi-Fi.

Then try again.
