Apple Watch Double Tapping???

I am trying to get rid of having to double tap my screen to open an app or anything really on my Apple Watch series 8. There is also a grey box that hovers over everything before having to double tap it. I have turned off the voiceover option and done touch accommodations but nothing seems to be getting rid of that feature.

How to close apps on an Apple Watch Ultra? With the latest watch update it’s a bit tricky to close apps by double clicking the crown when I double click it , it shows all the current apps running if you don’t close the desired app quickly it’ll automatically open the focus app. I however was able to figure out a solution by going into the watch app on iPhone>Accessibility>App Switcher >OFF [Re-Titled by Moderator]
