Thanks I thought that may be the case - I clicked a link for a recipe on Facebook, got a Google prize option then a pop-up, so immediately closed down the app. Then stopped following the site I had clicked the link for.
You wouldn’t be.
If Apple suspected fraud they’d simply deactivate your account to allow you to sort-it.
Any “hacking notifications” received are almost always scams or phishing attempts.
