how to upgrade to Mojave 10.14

can't download Mohave10.14- apple states the file is corrupt

Delete "Install macOS Mojave" from the Applications folder. Re-download in Safe Mode.

Upgrading to Mojave (Damaged File) I am trying to upgrad my 2017 MacBook Air to Mojave (10.14) so I can then hopefully get the 10.14.6 version... But I cannot find the 10.14 version and when I tried to open the 10.14.6 version I was able to download from some link or another, it said it was only to upgrade from 10.14... In the Apple store for Mojave an error comes up saying it is a damaged file or something to that effect and therefore cannot be used to install Mojave. Any work arounds!!??? Much appreciated.

Trying to update my MacOS from High Sierra 10.13.6 to Mojave 10.14 When I go to Apple store and attempt to down load it I get a warning window that says: "This copy of the Install macOS Mojave application is damaged, and can't be used to install macOS." No other Mojave install will work as they all want OS 14 or higher to install to. My mac is a late 2012 w/ 8GB memory so I just need the installer for Mojave OS 14 to be available.

You just have an old copy with expired Certificate, dailabrain has you covered. :)
