Our understanding is that you're getting an error message on your Mac's desktop. Have you restarted the the Mac by following the steps here:Shut down or restart your Mac. Restarting may able to resolve an issue like this.
If you continue to experience the issue, testing it in safe mode will help determine whether the issue is related a software that loads as the Mac boots. For steps on how to boot into safe mode, click here: How to use safe mode on your Mac .
After testing in safe mode, restart normally to confirm issue is resolved.
