Apple Pay payments

My subscription to use ICloud+ expired about 2 months ago. I’ve been trying to resubscribe to keep using it a lot, but I don’t manage to pay because my debit card isn’t verified. How can I fix it?

While we're unsure of exactly what's happening regarding verifying your payment details, the more details you provide us, the better we'll understand what's happening.


In the meantime, we'd like to rule out some general possible causes:

  1. If you tap continue to verify your payment details, but it's being declined, the next steps to take are the ones listed here: If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store
  2. If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.0.2. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
  3. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
  4. Have you already tried updating your payment details using another device other than your iPhone?
