Is there a way that Apple TV could be set up to download ONLY in M4V format? My recent purchased and downloaded movies from Apple TV are in HLS format which can't play back on older versions of Apple TV or any other device... It is essential that I download and my library is also available off-line... Can ANYONE advise, please?
I’m getting that same HLS-only result in Monterey as well, for 4K/HDR advertised movies (not for HD SDR advertised movies).
Either the M4V option is gone from the app, or the configuration for it is hidden. 🤷🏻♂️
Maybe one of the other forum users knows more?
I think the user was using an old version of TV APP... The current versions do not have "Check"except for multicahnnel option... I already had that unchecked anyways, no help at all...
