verification failed on icloud

No matter what I try , I am unable to log in on my iPhone to agree with the terms and conditions for iCloud and because of that I can't access find my iPhone and other services.

There is no way of logging out as well.

I have tried everything I could find on the internet but nothing makes it log in.

Yes my internet connection is strong and yes I have also tried with cellular data and yes I have the latest IOS update 16.0.2

I am able to log in via my iPad and my Mac but not on the iPhone 14 Pro

Anyone has any suggestions ?

Unfortunately , I have checked all steps you mentioned but I still can't update the iCloud terms and conditions.


This started about a month or so ago. I didn't think much of it because I thought it would sort itself out and because I was getting a new iPhone. Now I have the new iPhone 14 Pro max , I am all updated with IOS and I still can't access this particular service to update terms and conditions, however, I am able to access iTunes.

I have tried with different networks and and with cellular data but I still receive the same message.

When I transfer my data from my old iPhone XR to my new iPhone 14 Pro Max I thought the problem would end but it just came with it :(

I am puzzled because I can update on my other devices (Mac, iPad , very old iPhone 7 )


I wish there was a way of logging out and log back in but the log out doesn't work.


Any other ideas?

These steps should help:


  1. Check the system status page
  2. Make sure that your device is connected to the internet
  3. Update your software
  4. Check the date and time


More details on how to perform these steps can be found here: If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services


If you are still having issues, can you provide a few more details? Does this happen on another network? Are you able to complete these steps using cellular data? Also, when did you first notice this?
