While you'll need to monitor the battery life for the same issue after 72 hours from updating in conjunction with trying the battery tips, we’d like to rule out some other possible causes:

1. Is it being used within its temperature range? Check for the range near the top here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch gets too hot or too cold
2. Any app updates available? Check out: How to manually update apps on your Apple device
3. Any issues showing under Settings > Battery > Battery Health, and at what percentage does it show currently at with the battery health?

Is the video playback content that you have previously downloaded to your phone before viewing, or are you streaming it? If you’re streaming, the data download is using energy in addition to the energy used playing the video.
