ICloud said my iPhone was found but does not appear on find my

My iPhone was stolen and then this person turned it on and an e-mail was sent by apple saying that my iPhone was found but when I logged in, it disappeared from my iCloud / Find My iPhone map. It still shows if I go to my account settings in iCloud but it only provides basic information. Helppp!!

If you followed a link provided in that “Message Received” you were successfully phished by the criminals !!!

That “message” was from the thief and you handed-over your credentials.

Your phone is “gone” and your AppleID possibly compromised.

no that not it, the email did not have links nor it asked for my information, for some reason I cannot see the iphone on the map and cannot see the last location (when it was turned on and reported as found). Therefore, I cannot access the last location, when reported found. I was not able to erase all my files/information either. I changed my apple ID password just in case this helps.
