Disable on more minute?

My child asks for one more minute than deletes the app and reinstalls to start the screen time all over again. Like what is happening apple? You make all these small changes why not make a big one that helps parents out! When phones are paid, if this isn’t resolved, I’m moving to android. Help us help them.

Hello 4444Kwh,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

If you prevent your child from being able to delete the app, this should solve the problem.

"Prevent iTunes & App Store purchases

You can also prevent your child from being able to install or delete apps, make in-app purchases, and more. To prevent iTunes & App Store purchases or downloads:

  1. Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
  2. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions. If asked, enter your passcode.
  3. Tap iTunes & App Store Purchases.
  4. Choose a setting and set to Don't Allow.

You can also change your password settings for additional purchases from the iTunes & App Store or Book Store. Follow steps 1-3, then choose Always Require or Don't Require."

More details can be found here: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Your can also leave feedback for Apple directly by going to iPhone

I disabled my child’s (13) ability to install or delete apps. That helped prevent him from doing what you mentioned above.

The extend one more minute is making me mad though. He needs his phone to be able to call or text me and get to his school work so I just have app limits on social media and he is constantly extending one minute and basically getting unlimited use.
