Apple Music Request Timed Out

Hi, I have been having issues with Apple Music since getting my 14 pro, unless the song is downloaded in my library nothing plays, I just get request timed out, it then skips to usually the same artist in my library which I’m getting absolutely sick of 😂. Any help would be great!

Salutations ChrisClarke,

Let’s take some steps to work on isolating and resolving the situation.

1. First, have you had a chance to restart your iPhone since setting it up? If not, let’s do that now, then test again. Restart your iPhone

2. If it persists, can you please test network by checking on both Wi-Fi and cellular data? Additionally, if you use a VPN or security software, temporarily remove them, restart and test again.

3. Next, make sure we’re working with iOS 16.0.3. You can do that in Settings > General > Software Update.

4. Lastly, from Settings > your name > Media & Purchases sign out of your Apple ID, then sign back in. Note, please don’t sign out of iCloud. This is specifically the sign in for the iTunes & App Store. This will remove dowloaded Apple Music, however, you can download it again.

Let us know the results of those steps.

Thanks.
