Backing Up Safari Bookmarks to iCloud?

I hope I can get a little help here. My 8th gen ipad running 15.3 has been acting a little funky so id like to do a full factory reset. I don't have a ton of content I can't lose, I'd just like to backup my photos and safari bookmarks. All of my photos have been successfully uploaded to the cloud but i'm not sure how to go about doing the same with my safari web page bookmarks. I found in my icloud account settings the options to restore recently deleted bookmarks but that's it. Can anyone steer me in the right direction on how to go about backing up all my current bookmarks to the cloud? Thanks.

go to settings, click your name, then click on iCloud, scroll down to Safari, make sure synchronization is switched on for Safari, then it saves all your bookmarks
