I have a M2 MacBook Air and I want to enable centre stage, I've tried looking for it in the control menu effects but all I see is portrait mode. Is there any way of enabling the feature? fyi this feature is available on this latest Mac according to Apple.

When FaceTiming, click the center stage button in the bottom of the screen.
It can be that when you're face timing with someone who has older apple hardware that it can be difficult to get it working
What about the cases when I am not using FaceTime? My understanding was that this feature would have been available for any app using the camera. For this reason, I was expecting a system-level option to enable it. Instead, Apple expects every app who wants to use the feature to implement its own way to enable it. Am I correct?
