Driver issue causing memory integrity to be turned off on windows 11 through boot camp on MacBook Pro 16
Hey guys, not sure if this is the best place to post this but being that I’m running windows 11 on my MacBook Pro 16 through Boot Camp and because I’ve already got with Microsoft which turned out to not really be of any help, I figured I’d post here to see if anybody else running windows 11 through Boot Camp is having the same issues.
The other day while running windows, I noticed that the windows security app was showing a problem on the taskbar icon and when I clicked on it, it ultimately led me to a problem saying that my memory integrity was turned off because it was due to a specific USB driver called ftdibus.sys. Windows support pretty much had me reinstall windows 11 which seemed like it might’ve worked for a little bit but I still have the same problem. I also followed another link, which instructed me to go to FTDI’s website and download a driver uninstaller and then gave me instructions on downloading an updated driver which still did not help.
Again, have any of you guys who run windows 11 through Boot Camp have the same problem and if you did, what did you do to correct it? I haven’t always had this problem so I’m not sure if it was after the recent macOS update that might’ve caused this or if this was after some update that was downloaded through windows. Please help.
