Oticon hearing devices

Just upgraded my oticon hearing devices

they are paired and connected to my iPhone 13 using the accessibility section in setting

however as soon as I get out of range like in the next room when I come back although they reconnect I no longer have callas or music routed to my hearing drives

it is like the audio routing is forgotten every time and seems only way to reroute the call is to re pair every thing ??? Advice to fix ????

iPhone 13, iOS 16

When you received your new Oticon Aids was the firmware 1.4.0 on the aids. There is definitely some issues with that new firmware release. If they are firmware 1.4.0 I would take them back to your audiologist. They have to be sent back to Oticon to back the firmware to 1.3.0. You can check the firmware using the Oticon On app on your iPhone.

Oticon More hearing aids just had a firmware update a few days ago. About the same time that Apple iOS updated to 16.0.2. Are your hearing aids on the most current firmware and your iPhone 13 on iOS 16.0.2? Checking this is a good place to start. If both devices are on current releases contact an Apple Accessibility Support Specialist directly at this link: How to contact Apple for accessibility support - Apple Support
