mac book pro ICAL calendar jumps around

When I try to edit or make a new event it jumps dates and events. I will be entering a new event and it will jump to an old event and start editing that event. Super buggy and annoying. MACOS Monterey 12.4 one MacBook Pro 14". M1Pro. 2021.

Try opening Calendar while depressing the shift key, and check performance.

Another option would be to boot in Safe Mode, and check performance.
