Transfer from old to new Ipad

Transferring old ipad (Ipad Air) content to new Ipad (9th gen). I dont see Quick Start. Perhaps this is because new ipad already has some apps on it.

Where do I find Quick Start?

Also the old ipad has an Apple ID and the new one a different Apple ID.

As you can see I’m inexperienced and your help is appreciated.

Easiest solution would be for the Speech Clinic to wipe

the new iPad and do a re-install using your old AppleID.

Otherwise, Family Sharing may provide some of what you want.

Family Sharing - Apple

Data, documents, un-purchased items should be transferable.

Information kept in individual apps may be transferable - contact

the developers of such apps for assistance.

Good luck. If you have other questions, please post again and

someone will offer a solution.

What you are trying to do will not work with different AppleIDs.

Also, be advised all the items on the old iPad are forever

tied to that AppleID and will need that old AppleID and passcode

to be able to be updated on the new iPad. Or else you can download

those items using the new AppleID; paid for apps, media, etc will have

to be repurchased using the new AppleID.

Out of curiosity, what are you trying to accomplish by changing AppleIDs?

Ouch! I tried to change the Apple ID on the new Ipad but it won’t accept my original Apple ID.

The new Ipad was set up by a Speech Clinic and has a speech app which I need to use because I can no longer speak. They created the new Apple ID when they put the app on the new Ipad. Now I want to transfer all my data from my old Ipad to the new Ipad.
