If you don't have access to the iPhone, then there is no way to get it backed up. You need to have the iPhone in your possession to back it up. There is no magic way to back it up if you don't have it.
Why just 8 days? What exactly is happening?
Are you referring to the temporary iCloud storage you get when migrating to a new device? That just lets you have extra storage while you migrate. Once the migration is concluded, the data is deleted.
If you already have the backup there, then there's nothing else that needs to be done.
