what are the reasons that my airpods (new) would not pair with my iphone 13 (new)? Assume that I've taken all steps to facilitate the pairing, that the airpods are charged, that the phone ios is up to date, etc.).
Could the airpods be pledged to, assigned to, another iphone?

thank you! How do I then regain their affections: I do know the (potential other) mistress of the airpods. Will she need to "forget" the devices so that I may regain them? Not sure what to do. I'll start by figuring out if they show up on her "find my" feature.
