iPAD telephone service

Please, may I have definitions of each of these three characteristics applicable to Verizon Wireless but not to my carrier Xfinity Mobile:

  1. eSIM
  2. Unlocking
  3. Wi-Fi Calling on supported iCloud-connected devices

My/Our Apple devices are: A2301 iPad Pro, Model 2342 iPhone 12 Pro Max, Model A2176 iPhone 12 Mini.

Thank you!

eSim support is a decision made by the individual

carrier. I believe Verizon supports eSim.

If your iPhone/iPad is locked to Verizon, only Verizon

can unlock it. You would have to ask Verizon what

are the requirements to get your device unlocked.

WiFi calling is supported by Verizon.

You may find Verizon's website a valuable source of

information for such questions.
