Why can’t we see actual temperature, not just a baseline?

Why can’t I see the actual temperature data, like what the actual temperatures were in degrees? I like to track and analyze my cycles and need this information. There seems to be no reason the app can’t show the actual temperatures. This was the whole reason I bought the watch was to get temperature data throughout the night.

Hi there Usernamechecksout24,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Per the Apple Support article: Track your nightly wrist temperature changes with Apple Watch - Apple Support

"Your wrist temperature is a measurement related to your body's temperature taken by your Apple Watch while you're asleep. Your body temperature naturally fluctuates and can vary each night due to your diet and exercise, alcohol consumption, sleep environment, or physiological factors such as menstrual cycles and illness. After about 5 nights, your Apple Watch will determine your baseline wrist temperature and look for nightly changes to it."

So what you are seeing is an average based on 5 days worth of measurements. You can leave feedback on this functionality here:
