Things will be a lot easier if you simply remember 2 key things:
When the Maximum Capacity is down to 80%, it is time to replace the battery.
All rechargeable batteries are consumable components that become less effective as they chemically age.
Recent software updates can accelerate that process by adding features that consume more power.
As lithium-ion batteries chemically age, the amount of charge they can hold diminishes, resulting in shorter amounts of time before a device needs to be recharged.
Apple won’t replace the battery until it reaches 80% capacity.
Battery Performance Tips:
Need more help?
A charge cycle is the equivalent of 100% -- i.e., if you discharge to 50% and charge to 100% and then do it again.
Or if you discharge to 75% and charge to 100%, do that again, and then discharge to 50% and charge to 100%.
Either of those examples add up to a 100% charge.
