Think My I phone got hacked.

I open a website and immediately got a pop up saying my phone had been hacked asking if I wanted to take actions to fix it but I think the pop-up itself was a hack. I immediately closed it and closed all my browsers and everything. Oh in the hack notice also said to take action now or all your contacts and phone numbers will be deleted.

I did not believe my phone had been hacked I think it was just a pop-up trying to get me to fall for a scan. But I want to verify that it hasn’t been hacked somehow. What do you recommend?

Your phone has not been hacked.

The message that you have seen is a scam that is trying to trick you into buying useless software or worse......having you provide personal information about yourself.

Delete the message. Do the same for the messages like this that you will see in the future.

Were all of your contacts deleted? Those things are usually scams but it does indicate that you visited a website either accidentally or intentionally or were taken to a website without your interaction that does that sort of thing. Has your phone been acting normally since? How did you find the website that opened that message?
