How to know if my iPhone has been compromised?

What do you when you think your phone’s been hacked…? That is, when you encounter highly suspect/suspicious scenarios, how do we verify or properly investigate this/such matter/s ??

Much more likely than an an iPhone being "hacked" is your account being compromised.
