Ringback tones

I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max and Verizon is my Carrier Does anyone know of a ring tone app I can use to add a ring tone that would allow users to set personalized music and other purchased recordings that play when someone calls their devices? This is no longer available from Verizon.

I have hundreds of purchased songs from iTunes Store that I’ve transferred from the very first iPhone, up to this one. I’ve never had a problem using a SONG for a TEXT TONE, and have always assigned certain individuals “their” ringtone and same text tone — so I would know by sound who was calling or texting — THAT IS THE POINT of having these features. However, since iOS 17 update, I only have access to a few songs for ring tones, and only ONE song for a text. I pay for “Apple One” every month and feel that it is an awesome product. — BUT, I do not like being “regulated” by Apple for media I purchased on a device I purchased. I never agreed to that. Please do not direct me to “Apple Customer Support,” they don’t have an answer. Also, my post here should not be “re-written for clarity” before posting. I am far and away from being the only loyal Apple customer with this complaint. Thank you.

Purchased/Custom Tones Can ONLY be used for ringtones, IOS 17 I am hoping that this is a bug, and not an intended consequence of the update to IOS 17, but after ugrading my iphone 14 pro max to IOS 17 today, I noticed that when I went to customize my textone sound, that both my purchased tones and custom tones I created and added myself years ago, were missing. My only options were to use the new and crappy alert tones or the classic ones. As someone who is totally blind, using particular sounds to indicate particular contacts or events is essential to my use of the iphone. It's great, that I can see all my purchased and custom tones if I were to change the ringtone setting, but I should be able to customize all my sounds as I see fit, not be limited to ones that are unremarkable, too quiet, and awful. And how is it fair that we can purchase tones but they can only be used for ringtones, not textones or alerts? Very disappointing indeed. Like I said, I'm totally blind, using an iphone 14 pro max, and just recently upgraded to IOS 17. I wouldn't have upgraded if I knew this bug or intended consequence was going to be a result.

Can I set a different ringtone for Personal & Business lines on my iPhone? I have a secondary business line set up on my iPhone via an eSIM. Is there a way to set a differing ringtone for the 2 lines without configuring specific ringtones based on my Contacts? In all likelihood, the incoming call on the business line wouldn't have an associated contact anyway so I need to find a way to differentiate based on the actual LINE the incoming call is on. Thank you, Matt

That was a service that Verizon offered, you can't set a ringback tone from an app on your phone.
