Using gmail aliases (not accounts) in iOS mail

Hello,

email for my domain name is hosted by Google. I have several email address aliases associated with my email account.

I would like to be able to send messages from those aliases as I have done for years but can not find a way to add them when the account has been onboarded using the gmail option in iOS Mail.

I’ve tried working around this issue by adding the account as an imap account, but Google blocks access.

How do I restore the alias functionality I once had in iOS Mail with my domain name email account hosted by Google?

Thank you!

Thank you, Alma!

With all due respect, it seems that you have not examined the issue I raised.

The reason I say this is because I use the account aliases I described frequently each day, and the functionality I inquired about exists in the native MacOS mail app.

Other Apple users are experiencing the same issue. It is poor form to ping pong us back an forth with Google instead of providing the requested information, or even better, fixing the issue, so we can all become more productive again.
