Siri is not functioning correctly on iPhone 14 Pro

I have an iPhone 14 Pro and am running 16.0.3. My problem is that Siri does not work. When I say "hey Siri," the indicator appears and she says "hmm" and then no matter what I say, ie "text Jim" or "play some music" or "call mom" or "set a timer" I get a response like "one sec....... on it...." and then either it ends there, and the Siri indicator goes away and there is no further response, or she eventually says "sorry, something went wrong. Try again later."

I have good cellular and data connections. Siri on my iPad and HomePods works fine. Siri on my watch is NOT working. Of note, when my iPad is connected to the internet using my iphone as a hotspot, Siri on my ipad still works fine. But, again, not on my phone.

When I reboot the phone, Siri will work again for a few minutes, but it never lasts very long. It does not matter if I am at home, in the car, at work, or anywhere - same issue. It does not matter if I am on the T-mobile cellular data network, or on any particular wifi network. Same issue. Even if I reboot the phone right before I get in the car, I'm never more than five minutes from the house before Siri stops working again. It's super irritating.

Anyone have any thoughts?
