Excessive battery drain since iOS 16

Hi,

Since I have updated my iPhone 12 Pro to iOS 16 I am experiencing excessive battery drain. Safari is draining my phone battery the most. iOS 16.0.3 still hasn't fixed the issue.

And because of the constant charging, my battery health has fallen to 88% which is 3% drop for just 1 month.

Apple, I am really disappointed! Who is going to pay for the battery replacement in few months?! Do you think that this is environmentally-friendly? I don't think so!

To get started, Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple has some fantastic tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your battery.

It sounds like Safari is using more battery than usual, if you go to Settings > Battery, then tap "Show Activity" above the list of apps, it should break down the usage into hours and minutes. This can help you to determine if Safari is being used onscreen, or if it's background activity that is leading to the battery drain.
