MacBook pro "e" Key too sensitive

I just got a new MacBook pro. Is it normal for the e key on the keyboard to be too sensitive? If my hand is just feeling the key without clicking it, it continuously shows on the screen like I clicked it. Is this normal or is there a way for me to change this.
