When I have headphones plugged in the sound is very low even with sound up full blast. I bought new headphones thinking it was the headphones that weren’t working properly anymore but even with the new ones the sound is still very low even when turned up full. I don’t know why?

Try checking Settings > Sound > Headphone Safety. Reduce Loud Sounds could be switched on. Turning this off may resolve the issue for you.
