Would my kids lose access to Minecraft if I remove my Apple ID?

Hi, I want to know if I ask my ex to log off his Apple ID account from the kids iPads will they still have access to their minecraft account (also controlled by him). They are stressed about loosing their games and mods.

Also by him logging off can I then change the parental blocks which is stopping all updates, or do I also need the passwords for all the apps like Roblox and minecraft?

Each person, regardless of age, needs her/his own, unique Apple ID.

Assuming each child has this, then each person’s account will remain intact. Of course, each child would need to be supervised in some Family Sharing setup.

Thanks this is what I’m going to have to do . Unfortunately it’s all set up under the exs Apple ID and he is leaving it locked. My only solution is to buy new and start fresh which the poor kids are so upset they can’t keep their worlds. But it is my only option
