iPhone can't control volume of Apple Music on Apple TV [ios 16]

Does anybody know what happened with possibility to control volume of Apple Music streaming to Apple TV after updating to iOS 16? If I stream Spotify, or first start streaming and then play apple music, I can still control the volume. However if I start streaming directly from apple music app the volume bar becomes blank and I can't control the volume anymore. The same on iPhone 13 and 8. iPhone 8 with iOS 15 still works good.

Hello,

yes, both Apple TV and iphones (one iphone 13 mini and one iphone 8) are all up to date.

I also have Apple TV 3 and it works good as always.

Therefore if any of the devices are not up to date (like iphone 8 with ios 15 or apple tv with old os or even new macbook air m1 with the newest software) then everything works good and I can control the volume. However, if both devices are up to date (the newest 16 software), then there's a problem. And it looks like it was designed that way - the volume bar on iPhone gets totally blank.

Just to be perfectly clear - I'm not talking about remote here, but about airplaying.

I have one guess - now iphone won't airplay music from iphone to apple tv, but opens it directly on apple tv, therefore you can't control the volume anymore...

Should that still persist, do you have access to any other AirPlay compatible devices? If so, do they exhibit the same behavior?
