Excel opening on boot automatically.

Having recently upgraded my OS, Excel is opening a new blank book when I boot. (I quit Excel before shut down. This has been happening consistently) It doesn't open other apps I had been using and quit before shut down.

I don't want Excel to open automatically, but not finding where in Preferences to fix.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6

Check this article. Disable apps from auto launch on login.
