Purchased movies have disappeared from my Apple TV library

We'd first suggest using Spotlight to search your Mac for these missing downloaded movies. It's always possible they have been saved somewhere else. Here's more about Spotlight: Search with Spotlight on Mac

"Search for something

1. On your Mac, click the Spotlight icon  (if shown) in the menu bar, press Command-Space bar, or press  (if available) in the row of function keys on the keyboard."

If you aren't able to find your purchased movies, you will need to download them again. Here's how: Redownload TV shows and movies that you purchased.

"How to redownload TV shows and movies on your Mac

1. Open the Apple TV app.
2. Click the Library tab.
3. In the sidebar, click Movies or TV Shows.
4. Hold the pointer over a movie or TV show, then click the Download button . If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member's name next to Purchased to see their purchases.
