Apple Music since 16.0.3 update
When I skip to the next song in Apple Music it glitches right before the skip….it’s minimal but it’s not a pleasurable listening experience. It only just started since the last update

Hey there CoachHarry,
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, since the noticing the issue have you tried restarting your iPhone? If not, give that a try with the steps shown here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later
1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.
How to restart your iPhone 6, 7, 8, or SE (2nd or 3rd generation)
1. Press and hold the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
While restarting may seem like a simple step, it can often help with resolving some unexpected issues like this.
If still having issues after restarting your iPhone, have you noticed if this issue occurs when streaming music, when listening to download music, or both? If the issue occurs when streaming music, does the issue occur when you're connected to a Wi-Fi network, just cellular, or both?
This information can help us narrow down the issue further.
Take care!
Thank you for the reply. I have tried the restart. It has not resolved the issue. I will try again. If it helps, I usually run to my music with a Nike app clocking distance in the background. Not sure if that would have anything to do with it. But I’ve done that in the past without any issues.
Actually it DOES still happen when I am NOT on the Nike app. I just tried it. I just saw there is an IOS 16.1.1 update that I will try right now.
Hey CoachHarry,
That sounds like a good plan and should get you closer to getting this taken care of.
Have a great day.
