My iPad email is frozen and won’t respond to anything. I couldn’t even input my password to help.

What must I do to unfreeze and thus access my emails?

Try forcing the app to quit, to start with: Quit and reopen an app on iPad - Apple Support


Then failing that, force-restart the iPad, and try again: Force restart iPad - Apple Support
