I have a trusted certificate that’s no recognized

I have in my trusted certificate list, trusted root I don’t recognize

please help me on how to remove or delete from my device

iPhone SE, iOS 16

There is no supported means provided to modify or to selectively disable the built-in list of trusted certificates.


Apple does have a list of the trust store in the HT209143 support article, though that list tends to be a little dated.


If you’d like to discuss the particular certificate of concern here, please post the name.


In the unlikely possibility that your iPhone has been exploited such that the root CA list trust store has been modified—as differentiated from certificates added via MDM profiles, or such—you have few viable options short of factory reset and reinstall.
