Can’t share hotspot to my laptop and Nintendo

I just bought a new iPhone 14 pro and I can’t share my hotspot to my laptop and Nintendo Switch. Does anyone has any idea how to fix it?

Hi Jay_den417,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! What happens when you attempt to connect your Nintendo Switch to your Personal Hotspot?

Since noticing this issue, has your iPhone been restarted? Restarting can help resolve many unexpected issues we may face with our devices.

To restart:

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power off slider appears.

2. Drag the slider and wait about 30 seconds.

3. Press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears to power it back on. Once back on, test to see if this continues.

You should also confirm that your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS 16 which is currently iOS 16.0.3. To install any available update go to Settings > General > Software Updates.

Hi, thanks for replying to me. What happened was, I’ve turned on my personal hotspot but my friend couldn’t find my hotspot on their phone nor my Nintendo Switch as well. The problem has been on and off for a week. It’s working for now but I’m not sure will it still be working next time. I have solved the problem by restarting my iPhone.
