I have a personal MacBook Pro and a MacBook Air from my employer. I am currently on leave so my employer said I need to return the MacBook Air that was issued by them. I actively use my personal and work laptops and have important files on both. I want to keep all of my files from both laptops. If I use migration assistant to transfer the files from my work laptop to my personal lap top will it delete all the files on my personal laptop?

Not sure that's the best way to move files. You can simply copy onto an external drive, upload to iCloud, send by email, connect the two computers together in a network, etc.

Thanks for the reply, there is way too much to send by email but I can probably use an external drive.
