I downloaded the update for my Apple Watch, but it be saying preparing for like four hours and don’t work don’t prepare for nothing


I downloaded update but it won’t update it’s been saying preparing for like five hours

1. Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
2. Make sure that your Apple Watch is at least 50 percent charged.
3. Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi.
4. Keep your iPhone next to your Apple Watch, so that they're in range. 


After that, it'll go over how to try updating via the Apple Watch itself, as well as via the companion iPhone.

If you need help updating
Try these steps:
1. Make sure that your Apple Watch connects to its charger
2. Restart your Apple Watch. Press and hold the side button until you see Power Off, then drag the slider. To turn your watch on again, press and hold the side button.
3. Restart your paired iPhone.
4. Try to start the update again. 
If the update won't start, open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap General > Usage > Software Update, then delete the update file. After you delete the file, try to download and install watchOS again.
Learn what to do if you see 'Cannot Install Update' when updating Apple Watch.
