IPhone 14 Pro notifications still wonky

Has anyone figured out a quick tip to get our "unseen" notifications? I receive quite a few all day and if I am unable to view them right away they seem to disappear till days later, when they accidentally show up again. I had major problems w/notifs when I first got the phone which were eliminated w/an update. Now the problem has re-emerged. I do appreciate having access to my notifications in a timely manner and not days later. I need a "back door" option to unleash the ones in hiding. Sometimes it turns out to be 15-20 at a time. I've done some research on my own w/no real fixes found.

Have you enabled Scheduled Summary?

Settings > Notifications > [Select the App that you are having trouble receiving immediate notifications]

See the pic below for a few examples. Please select immediate delivery.

Go to Settings and tap Notifications. Select an app under Notification Style. Under Alerts, choose the alert style that you want. If you turn on Allow Notifications, choose when you want the notifications delivered — immediately or in the scheduled notification summary.

Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Change notification settings on iPhone

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications.
  2. To schedule a notifications summary, tap Scheduled Summary, then turn on Scheduled Summary. ...
  3. To choose when you want most notification previews to appear, tap Show Previews, select an option—Always, When Unlocked, or Never—then tap.

I followed these steps and found the notifications option was already turned on. Thank you for the reply, I appreciate all ideas at this point. I have a number of notifications from this morning and I cannot get access to them. I did see them earlier but they disappeared from view. I did change the notifications view options from temporary to persistent. That may only apply to future notifications.

It would appear that one of my problems is the notifications settings were defaulted to "temporary" on all my app accounts. I did go through and change those to "persistent" and tweaked a few other things w/the help of Apple Support. All should be fixed, moving forward. Thanks for everyone's suggestions, I do appreciate every one of them.
