PDF urls with # in the URL don't work in the PDF. It works everywhere else

Preview PDF not searching for exact phrase I can't search for exact phrases in Preview app for PDFs. If I put the phrase or sentence in quotation marks, it'll say "No Results Found" on the left hand side. I'm on MacOS Ventura 13.0.1, and I put it on safe mode and it did not fix. I went on another user on my MacBook and it still didn't work. Contacted Support and they told me to start using 3rd party PDF apps. Any suggestions?

MacAirOS Catalina, Preview not saving PDF changes in added blanket pages Since some days, I have lost a lot of work done on my PDF documents opened with Preview. When I insert a blank page to a PDF document in Preview and save & close the file and then re-open it, the changes are not saved. How could I fixe it ?

Preview search error on 10.15.7 I used to use Acrobat Pro 8 when combining pdfs but it no longer works after upgrading to Catalina. So, I've used Preview to combine two fully searchable pdfs that contain text only. However, when I open the newly combined pdf and use the search window to find results for a particular word, for some reason it only gives me the uppercase results. And if I'm searching for a word that only appears in lowercase in the pdf, the search doesn't show any results at all. I've tried closing and reopening Preview, quitting and reopening and also restarting computer. Has anyone experienced and resolved this issue? Or can you recommend a free app that allows me to combine pdfs. Many thanks.
