Not liking the toolbar icon changes in Monterey, or is there some way to change them.

Switching from list view to icon view (or column or gallery) use to take me just one click. Now, I have to click, select from a dropdown and then click again. If there is a way to change this I would certainly like to know.

OK -- editing this. ... I just realized the problem. The folders have been opening smaller than I'm use to and the four-icon view group was condensing to a dropdown menu.... (d'oh)... After decades of working with Mac, such a simple oversight (on my part).
