Iphone 14 pro stuck in sos only after waking from focus mode (no cell or wifi reception)

I recently got a 14 pro and it is running well except one issue. When waking up in the morning from focus mode, the phone is in sos only mode with no connection to wifi or cell service. Nothing seems to work except manually restarting the phone, which only fixes it for that day.

Someone mentioned forcing a firmware update by restarting the phone (pressing up and down and holding siri button until apple logo appears). Unfortunately this did not work for me.

Is it possible it is an issue with my vpn, or my wifi network? Any help would be very appreciated!
