My Apple TV video and audio keep cutting out when I stream 4K
I'm hoping someone can help me fix this problem with 4K streaming. As I'm watching a 4K program, the screen will go dark and the audio will cut out, and then it will flash back on. This will happen at random times, sometimes every few seconds, sometimes once a minute. I am certain I've narrowed this down to the Apple TV 4k itself.
-I have tried replacing my HDMI cable with the recommended Belkin Cable and the Monoprice cable. When I use other 4K devices (Roku and XBox), this doesn't happen
-This happens on Apple TV +, Netflix, and Youtube TV
-If I switch the mode to 1080 with Dolby Vision, the problem goes away.
-My internet is plenty fast and this happens when I am on WiFi and hard wired in. Speed testing on the apple TV says I am getting 140 Mbps. When I use other 4K devices (Roku and XBox), this doesn't happen.
-This happens on two different brands of TV, but my primary set is an LG OLED (C7) 77 inch tv.
-I've tried to mess with several different settings (auto match settings and this and that). I've tried using HDR and Dolby Vision and Plain old 4K without HDR, but the 4K is the common thread.
Any advice?
